Lead Experience Designer
Creative lead for the collaboration between Marriott International, Legrand, Samsung and Amazon exploring how smart objects can shape the hotel experience of the future.
Brainchild of multidisciplinary designers, engineers and executives from all 4 companies, the project focused on the “smart” hotel room but also studied how physical experience is connected to the larger guest journey ecosystem.
We used multi-platform data from pattern recognition, health and sleep tracking, geo-fencing, network presence sensing and loyalty profile preferences to create more intuitive & personalized guest experience, revenue generation and operational efficiencies. Created a prototype room to collect feedback and conduct qualitative research.
Fast Company referenced IOT project when they named Marriott International as the 4th most innovative company in design.
