Starwood’s Brand Innovation Lab on 5th Ave, NYC. Designed to showcase Starwood’s dedication to innovation and a nod to it’s rich heritage.

Various interactive social media installations were placed in various spot as a direct feedback mechanism from our guests to designers who work on shaping the future of the guest experience.

IOT guestroom of future

IOT Guestroom of Future project, one of Marriott’s acclaimed projects in partnership with Samsung, Legrand and Amazon. Along with creatives and executives from all 4 companies, we studied guest experience journey and identified opportunities to inject human centric technology to make things smoother, more intuitive and efficient.

We created a prototype room as a conversational centerpiece for guests, owners, operators and brand executives; testing concepts like responsive environment, pattern recognition, personalization, health/sleep monitoring, jetlag prevention and predictive maintenance.

Flatfold chair that is manufactured from a single piece of plywood with 3/4” thickness when folded.

Google hosted entertainment and political celebrities during the weekend of White House Correspondents Dinner in Washington, DC. Upcoming and current Google products were integrated creatively within number of guest lounges.

le meridien summit

Launch of the new brand identity for Le Meridien hotels. Worked with a local production agency to create the stage and various installations including a notebook bar which changed entire look every time a page was torn out of 188 notebooks.

sheraton summit

Worked in tandem with graphics team to create a separate visual identity for the event which was then injected into design of experiential elements throughout. Created a recyclable backbar out of cardboard tubes highlighting partnership with Starbucks.

typeshelf

Word used as the object it depicts. Single piece, laser cut stainless steel shipped flat. Simple manufacturing with virtually no material waste or additional hardware.

Modular wooden spice rack, each box is connected by magnets and can be re-arranged.

shadow clock

Shadow clock shows time with 2 shadows of a pin on the wall. There are 2 different level of LED lights in the ring creating 2 different height shadows.

Wall accessory transforms into a vase by folding each circle onto the next one.

Google created a Democratic National Convention Election HQ out of shipping containers in Charlotte, NC.

Sensory exhibition showcasing spices from around the world, allowing visitors to see and smell each of the 103 spices.

luxury summit

State of luxury in hospitality industry was discussed at the summit in Dubai. Whole experience was inspired by the phrase “through the looking glass” from Alice in Wonderland, referring to Starwood’s point of view on luxury segment.

End user decides the final look of the clock by bending their numbers of preference. Laser cut steel, radiant red back face with hand bent numbers.

Shampoo bottle concept that can be up-cycled as a bathroom toy once its empty. Thinning silhouette and hole on the body makes it easy for little hands to grab in slippery situations.

A vodka bottle that has a second side for the mixer. Logo is reversible to be read same on both sides.
